Cape Cod League - Falmouth

On the defensive end, Commodores starting pitcher Brandon Finnegan (TCU) helped Falmouth snag the win tonight with a dominant, eight-strikeout performance.  Finnegan, coming out of his spring season with a 0-8 record with a 3.18 ERA, finally gets a well-deserved and overdue win on the Falmouth mound.  He allowed just one earned run on three hits over the course of five innings.
“It wasn’t too fun going 0-8, but I was glad to come out here, throw a lot of strikes, and be on the mound for a while,” said Finnegan in a post-game interview.  “It felt great to win the first game of the season with the Commodores.”

Is it out of the ordinary that there are four college teammates on the same Cape Cod League team?  How does that player selection process work?

Not really.  A few years back The Brewster Whitecaps had several players from TCU.  but normally players get scattered thruout the league, but it happens every year.
