It is beyond description just how inept the entire refereeing crew called this game. From the first running touchdown by TT, where a defender's shoulder was almost ripped off by Amaro, with the ref looking straight at it, to the illegal "fair catch" signal which wasn't, and the best of all, the punt receiver interference.
 
This crew will never officiate a bowl game after that performance.  If anyone in another occupation performed at their pathetic level, they would be out of a job.

A few calls were questionable (kick catch interference, a couple false starts that were out of camera view on both teams) and most happened on big plays or pivotal times.HHowever, it was your offense playing like poo cheese that cost you guys the game. Boykin looked horrible and the play selection blew my mind. Also, why was Fields not turned loose against the Freshman QB?

I know it's landmark but it would sure send the message that the league wants things done right.
 
Yea we looked bad, but we got robbed too. In fact both teams got robbed. Officials shouldn't be able to do this.

The Bataan death march was horrific.  The World Trade Center on 9/11 was horrific.  This was a college football GAME that was badly called.  Your hyperbole is out of place.

Blocking and tackling, that part of the game never changes. Do they still teach those skills?
