Let's not forget about Griffin. When he signed with the Frogs, GP said he was closer to 6-6 than his listed 6-5. He is one of those hybrid-type TE's who are popular with the pros. He was "wide open" on one play, according to the TV guys, but Boykin could not get the ball off. Don't know if he has caught any balls yet...that will come.
He has done a lot of blocking in the backfield, and generally well. Nice to see a true Freshman receiver who is able and willing to block. I think that a good fade pass in the endzone to him (a la Stephen Shipley) would really be hard to stop. Plus a safety of LB would cover him: that's a mismatch.
