C.P.F.L. Time?

College football is completely broken and it can't be fixed ever.  The bowls are corrupt, the media rights holders, CFP, NCAA, you name it.  I wish TCU Big 12 with SEC or Large big Money teams would withdraw from NCAA completely and start a College Professional Football League.   Set the bar high each owner or team must put up 100 million dollars to get a franchise plus operating money of 50 million dollars.  Just forget scholarships, selective NCAA enforcement bias, and all the baggage with academics Title IX all of it.  Pay the  players and they can pay for school, work, or just play football.   They can get endorsements have agents and get drafted anytime.   They can play five years then they have to go pro.  Ideas for Professional College Football.  If a team can't invest the money for a professional Team then they are out.

Set up revenue sharing of all revenues like the NFL media rights, merchandise, ticket sales, concessions, parking, luxury suites, etc. to create financial parity.  Split the revenue 50% to Schools who are owners and 50% to players.

Benefits and Ideas of Pro College Football

Have high school draft instead of recruiting slot pay for draft picks then free agents.

No free agents to keep teams whole.

Players have agents, lawyers, keep all endorsement money they earn.

Teams can have three deep at every position including specialist in case of injuries.

Teams can have practice squad players.

Professional Medical staff, training, concussion protocols, better safety gear, rehab, surgeons, etc.

Teams can have year round training, camps, preseason, regular season, then real playoffs.

I know Big 12 fans will love this part!!   Year Round Professional Referres as well as a full time training center.   Video T.V. review center as well.   Ability to call penalties not originally called on a play.

Real Playoff like the NFL any division format and a reall College Football Super Bowl.  Win and you are in the playoffs lose and you go home.

Benefits of the Professional league.

No NCAA B.S.
SMU might actually be great again.
More players get paid to play and can use the money to pay for college, but don't have to go to school.
Players who aren't smart can play football and hopefully could learn a trade plumbing, carpenter, HVAC, Welding, etc.
Finally a real non-subjective Champion first time ever.
More entertainment, alchohol at stadiums, etc.
No cheating since everyone can pay players what they are worth.
No politics.
Fantasy College Football partnerships with Draft Kings etc.
Alchohol Sponsorships Bud Light College Football Playoffs.
Colleges get more money as owners than current system.
Good ole Boy network that hates Big 12 loses their jobs and power.  This includes waste of human bowl employees as well.   Also NCAA employees.

I expect the board to flame away, but if we can't fix the system then start a new one where we control the rules.   If you were a player where would you go to play College Football this leagues or the old one?   I apologize for spelling and grammar errors.

Cool next year it is.  Glad no one so far has flamed the idea outright.   Just putting this out so right after the CFP screws undefeated TCU again for the second year in a row then it might get popular.

And what, pray tell, would be your opinion of such a league if, for whatever reason, we were not invited to this dance?

TCU is one of the few programs that's not corrupt. Once college turns totally corrupt (it's very close I know) many people will stop watching.
