TCU OL Tommy Brockermeyer medically retiring from football sources tell HFB​

TCU offensive lineman Tommy Brockermeyer has medically retired from football, multiple sources confirmed HornedFrogBlitz on Friday afternoon. Brockermeyer is no longer listed on TCU's football roster that is on GoFrogs.com.

Brockermeyer has battled injuries for much of his college career.

A former five-star out of Fort Worth All Saints, Brockermeyer was ranked as the No. 6 overall player in the nation and No. 2 offensive tackle prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He was ranked as the No. 2 overall player in Texas as well.

I feel badly for him. To be so highly rated coming out of high school, with all the expectations that entails, to starting off at Alabama, then to coming to TCU, then finally having to retire - what a huge disappointment that must be. In the long run though, he will be thankful he put his health first. Best of luck to him.
