247 Sports: Baylor Looks to Rebound Against Frogs

The Baylor Bears travel up I-35 to take on the TCU Horned Frogs Saturday morning, trying to get back to .500 in Big 12 play and improve their NCAA tournament odds as the days tick down to Selection Sunday. Baylor (17-11, 7-8) was the hottest team in the Big 12 before their Tuesday night loss to West Virginia having won 5-games in a row. Can they start a new winning streak against a team that they have simply dominated in Big 12 play?
Baylor won the first 12 games these two teams had after TCU joined the Big 12, and lead the all-time series 100-82, including a 41-40 record in Fort Worth. At the time of their earlier matchup, the Horned Frogs were a surprising 12-1, suffering their first loss of the season just a few days before at home against Oklahoma.
A three-game losing streak followed the Frogs overtime win in Waco, and they fell to a 5-8 record in Big 12 play less than 2-weeks ago. Back to back wins against Oklahoma State and at Iowa State pushed their conference record back to 7-8, so both teams have a shot at evening their Big 12 record.
