TCU transfer QB Chandler Morris to visit South Carolina, per report

by:Wade Peery

TCU transfer quarterback Chandler Morris will be visiting South Carolina at some point in the future, he told SportsTalk Media Network on Sunday evening. Morris is the son of former Clemson offensive coordinator and current analyst Chad Morris.

Morris entered the transfer portal for a second time after starting his college career at Oklahoma, where he spent one season and appeared in five games before transferring to TCU. Morris preserved his redshirt in 2021, completing 65.8% of his passes for 695 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions in four games during his first season with the Horned Frogs.

Pretty sure they are committed to their 5 star starting QB no matter how good (or not good) he is. I don't think that will tell us much at all.
Interesting to watch the careers of Klubnik and Ewers play out. I’m sure they both get a shot at the next level.

The article literally says he's visiting University of South Carolina and everyone is talking about Clemson like they are the same thing.
He’s visiting SC because his dad works there. Possible Clemson interest was brought up because their OC coached him here last year, and would know better than most what he’s got left.

He was going to be done playing until South Carolina called him.

It appears his Dad works at Clemson. South Carolina called him and convinced him to visit. He was planning on hanging it up. He also has close friends that attended South Carolina and are encouraging him to check it out.

Hanging it up? Seriously? That kid can play, he just hasn't stayed healthy. He could set the world on fire at a lot of places.
