TCU product Jalen Reagor to miss Eagles’ season opener, possibly more games

Jalen Reagor’s NFL career will be delayed because of a shoulder injury he sustained Sunday.

The TCU product is sidelined at least a couple of weeks, a source said, including the Philadelphia Eagles’ opener against the Washington Football Team on Sept. 13. It’s unclear if he’ll be ready for the Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 20.

Reagor will not require surgery, the source said, but was diagnosed with a small tear in his labrum.

Good thing it doesn't require surgery. Might cost him the whole season. I was much older than him (62) when I had surgery and it was 6 months to OK recovery an a year for full mobility. I would think a 23 YO athlete would heal much faster, but still, being able to extend and rotate the arms above the head are crucial to a wide receiver.
