TCU quarterback Alex Delton returns to Kansas State

First-year Kansas State coach Chris Klieman didn’t get the chance to talk to transferring quarterback Alex Delton. When Klieman was hired, Delton already had made the decision to leave K-State, and he ended up at TCU.
Saturday, the Horned Frogs play at Kansas State, and though Delton isn’t starting for the Frogs, he figures to play against his former team.
“He’ll be in the ballgame,” TCU coach Gary Patterson said Monday on the Big 12 teleconference. “He’s played in every ballgame. He’s a TCU Horned Frog right now, so I don’t know in terms of issues. He’s been great here. Been the consummate teammate. One of my captains. Even when he hasn’t been the starter, he’s been great for us as far as how he’s handled things. I see no issues.”
