Pretty massive move up for the Bobcats! That league is shaping up to be pretty damn good afternoon being left for dead. TV revenue may not be that sexy but competition among several solid programs will be very good.
Meh…it will eventually be the case that Prime stops coaching at Colorado. And it will be at a time when his sons are no longer players there. But I don’t think it’s going to be immediately the case. I’d give him 3-4 more years of coaching and then frankly his health likely takes him completely...
Interesting times. I truly believe that over the next 30 years cycle a smaller percentage of the population will go to college. It seems the bubble is bursting. Not sure if that matters to the TCU strategy on a micro level or not with DFW and Texas population growth, but we will see.
If those goofy Aggie’s thought that they could insert the “players choice” in place of Schloss and keep it rolling they deserve what they are getting. Schloss is easily a top 5 college baseball coach…arguably top 2-3…of the last 20 years.

If he takes serious the need to study and work to become a professional quarterback he will be the bargain of the draft. He’s never played on a team full of stars. He will need to lose the Randall Cunningham approach and get serious about being a system QB with wheels and major athleticism…he...
Why don’t they just come out and say they need an anti-trust exemption? That’s their only issue. Get that and they can collectively create a uniform set of guidelines for themselves and give major college sports some framework.
And for that reason I’m pretty much out. Clinging to interest out of pure hard headedness, prior passion, unrealistic nostalgia, etc. But I’ll likely never love college sports the way I used to ever again.
