Singing the song is about respect for the school, history, past players, students, band, fans, alum. 80% of the team played at TCU last year (most of them 3 yrs) and should’ve known the tradition. Plus, they didn’t sing at Georgia and fans made a stink. Saying they weren’t instructed is bs excuse.

This is the issue with college football in 2023. If you are too big on accountability then players just transfer out

I think in 10 years fans today won’t like the college football “product” with the total destruction of longtime conference models.

We were just national runners up last year. Bazooka, the height of discipline and execution was just 10 months ago.

Gonna see more of this at TCU, other schools with all the "rent a players" through the Transfer Portal. Most of these guys have no real ties to the school they're at now, other than a place to play Football .

ADJD's statement here is about the only leadership we saw today. Stepping up and taking responsibility because Sonny crapped the bed here.

Oh, and if you're going to have a whole infomercial on Carter Boys about how you respond when things don't go your way, skipping the alma mater makes that look like a sales line and not a culture.
