Agreed. Coaches quit on that game. I’d rather have Nunez bat than Sacco. But why Shep didn’t get an at bat makes no sense except someone was ready to go home.

For the record: I think only blaming the coaches is supremely stupid. Schloss was playing to win a regional. Not just one game. Hill and Ridings and Savage weren’t good tonight. That’s baseball. I wish he would’ve managed that differently, but had it paid off we would’ve been set to make it to next weekend.

Now we’ll see what this group is made of. Tough road.

Not exactly. It didn’t slip away, we dropped it on the ground and watched it roll slowly into the gutter. Multiple mistakes from the top down led to this abortion
