THE NEW BIG 16 CONFERENCE (Pac12 fans are arrogantly discussing)

(according to arrogant Californicators - who by the way - are abandoning their own State in massive numbers - and relocating to Texas - and - voting for same kind of DEM LIBERAL AzzzHo’s who made their state a shiii(Baylor)t hole))

BIG 16 Conference (new name being discussed is PACWEST 16)

Pacific Division
USC
UCLA
OREGON
OREGON ST
WASHINGTON
WASHINGTON ST
CAL
STANFORD

West Division
COLORADO
UTAH
ARIZONA
ARIZONA ST
TEXAS
TEXAS TECH
OKLAHOMA
OKLAHOMA ST

The Californicators then suggest a Little League Conference lineup (not P5) of the following 16 PeeWee teams as they call them. How nice of them to show such consideration to help us dirty little PeeWees to form a Conference for us Little League weenies. Aint they nice. Below is their suggested PeeWee League for those who get left out of Big16 BigTime Power League.

AMERICAN 16 Conference

Mountain Division
COLORADO ST
AIR FORCE
BOISE ST
BYU (or UTAH ST if BYU declines)
NEW MEXICO
HOUSTON
MEMPHIS
TULSA

Central Division
TCU
SMU
TULANE
BAYLOR
IOWA ST
KANSAS ST
SOUTH FLA
NAVY

Ain’t those CalifHornies very sweet folks to think of us like this ? How nice !!

The BIG16 would then create 4 BigTime Mega-Conferences:

BIG 16 (with 16 teams) (two divisions of 8 teams)

SEC (16 teams) (takes FLA ST and NC ST who they have wanted)

ACC (16 teams) (after they add CINN to make 16) (then add 2 more after they lose 2 to SEC - they add UCF - to compensate for FLA ST loss, and WEST VIRGINIA)(UCF is actually a bigger student body population than FLA ST)

BIG 10 (16 teams) (takes MIZZOU and KANSAS - both of whom they want)

Who cares. Pac is dead, they lose. Time for the Big12 to enjoy the spoils of war.

12 PLAYOFF SPOTS:

2 prime playoff spots for each Conference - for each for the 4 Power Conferences (8). Which means all you have to do is win your Division if you are in a Power Conference.

and

2 at large spots for the 5 PEE WEE conferences (plus the independent Pee Wees) to fight over and scratch for and scramble for the 2 measly scraps the big shots throw on the floor. Even winning your Conference Title would not guarantee you a spot. All 5 PEE WEE conf champions will have to fight and scratch for one of the only 2 playoff spots.

PAC 12 is nowhere near being dead. Too many very very prestigious college football programs in that conference.

Their Commissioner will most likely try to pull off some sneaky back door secret merger with Big12 at some point.

And multiple schools will get left out in a sneaky little behind the scenes scheme that will turn out to be pretty doggone sneaky, dishonest, and backstabbing.

Remember, these are Californian DEM LIBERALS running that Conference. Which means they are disgusting human beings.

You might want to keep that in mind before you assume Pac12 is dead

Their network failed and they just fired their commissioner.

This after failing to raid the Big12 and turning down ESPN.

Now you think schools from the Pac are going to sit down at the negotiating table with ESPN and the heads of the Big12 and have their demands met when they have absolutely zero leverage?

No, the Pac is dead and their competitors will buy up the valuable assets and leave the rest behind.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion and good for you......but.......what is this “PAC12 HAS NO LEVERAGE” thingie you are talking about ? I dont understand ?

FACT: BIG12 has absolutely zero leverage because Big12 has put out feelers to Pac12 teams and...NONE OF THEM...are even remotely interested in Big12.

FACT: OKLAHOMA is known to have been out seeking greener pastures multiple times (and probably still is looking)....and TEXAS has stated if OU leaves TEXAS will leave also.

FACT: No Pac12 team is interested in leaving that conference. They are all very tight with each other and other Conferences have tried with zero success to pry them away and none of the Pac12 teams will even listen.

FACT: TEXAS TECH has said they will follow tho Longhorns and OKIE ST has stated they will follow Sooners if and when they leave.

FACT: OKLAHOMA Athletic Director hascststed publicly he personally would love an affiliation with California schools to increase recruiting on West Coast. He loves the idea and has said it publicly. He stated he thinks the National TV audience would like to see games like USC vs OU and OREGON vs OU. He also likes the idea of OU in the Rose Bowl game more often, and playing USC and UCLA in the Rose Bowl stadium forctheir home games.

Sounds to me like Big12’s entire future hinges on one Athletic Director’s whim. If OU leaves the entire Big12 Conference collapses.

Explain to us all again this great “LEVERAGE” thingie you claim the Big12 has ?

Please go into detail so we can all be smarter. Thanks in advance.

It would take too long to explain it all to you. All you need to know is that the Pac has zero leverage and the Big12 and ESPN are holding all the cards.

The Pac fans will squirm and come up with desperate idea's to try and save themselves but that is what happens when an entity is on its deathbed. They have already tried everything, it's over.

The time difference just kills the PAC from a Tv standpoint. 7pm pacific kicks are too late for the East and Central time zones with regards to your average viewer. I think that’s part of the reason they’re struggling. The main population hubs are pro centric and I think most fans prefer to watch pro over USC & UCLA.

Nobody really cares about watching Cal or Stanford football in California.

When TCU was white hot in football and baseball the pecking order I saw for most desirable teams in the Big XII went:

1. Texas
2. OU
3. KU, because of hoops value.
4. TCU, football and baseball brands, DFW eye balls.

I'm amazed at how many people think Kansas has huge value to a conference because of their basketball program. These conference moves are all about TV money and TV money is decided almost entirely by football. The Kansas basketball program would only actually bring value to a G5 conference that isn't getting much TV money to begin with. The idea that a conference like the Big 10 is craving the Kansas basketball program is ludicrous as they add zero value to the TV deal beyond just extra inventory with more games.

Kansas was an eyelash away from joining the Mountain West during the last round of expansion because of how little value they actually bring to a conference. While the KU basketball brand makes a ton of money for itself through merchandising and its own fanbase buying up tickets, streaming service, and giving massive donations; the value they bring to a conference is very little because they don't impact the football TV money. Basketball TV money is a tiny thing compared to football for these P5 conferences and its not like the Big 10 doesn't already have valuable basketball properties as it is.

And mentioning the TCU baseball brand is even more meaningless. Absolutely no one gives two [ Finebaum ]s about college baseball on a national level.
