First serve is set for 9 a.m. CDT from Duke's Ambler Tennis Stadium.</p><p></p><p>The 32nd-ranked Horned Frogs (18-5) are winners of 11 in a row and earned an automatic bid to the field of 64 after winning the Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship a week ago. USC is 15-8 this season and was an at-large selection to the NCAA field out of the Southeastern Conference.</p><p></p><p>TCU is making its 14th appearance all-time in the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships. In 2010, TCU's last trip to the NCAA tourney, it and South Carolina faced in the first round. Its opponent, the Gamecocks, are the No. 2 seed. Host Duke (25-2) is the top seed in its regional and the No. 3 overall national seed. Duke faces Winthrop (15-10), the No. 4 seed at 1 p.m. CDT on Friday.</p><p></p><p>The winners of the first round matches meet Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT with the champion of the Duke Regional advancing to the Sweet 16 at Georgia on May 17. Marcy Girton, now a senior associate athletics director at South Carolina, was the Senior Woman Administrator at TCU when Borelli was first with the women's squad.</p><p></p><p><strong>MOUNTAIN WEST SWEEP</strong></p><p>For only the second time in program history, TCU won both the Mountain West regular season championship, as well as the Mountain West postseason tournament.
