GoFrogs: Three Frog Entries Advance to Finals

AUSTIN, Texas – TCU track and field shined on Day Three of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, highlighted by three entries punching their tickets to Saturday's finals.

Iyana Gray qualified for her second straight Texas Relays 100m final – placing second overall with her time of 11.13 (2.9w). She won her heat to earn the automatic qualification.

Gray was also the anchor on the 4x100 team that ran the second-fastest time in the prelims to advance to the finals. Teanna Harlin, Mikayla Hayes, Breanna Harlin and Gray clocked a 44.39 and won their heat.

Also adding to the Flyin' Frogs successful day was the women's 4x400 team. Samarra Monrroy, Dreunna Washington, Kelaiah Daniyan and Amelliah Birdow clocked a 3:39.91 to win their heat and punch their tickets to Saturday's finals.

The men's distance medley relay team of Ryan Martin, Dominic Byles, Giovouni Henry and Graydon Morris ran the third-fastest time in school history (9:41.73). The squad finished second overall.

TCU's sprint medley relay team earned runner-up honors as well, finishing second with a time of 3:17.88. The team of Jayden Douglas, Kashie Crockett, David Seete and Lloyd Frilot ran the fifth-fastest time in outdoor history.

In the women's javelin, Maria Bienvenu and Irene Jepkemboi took two of the top five spots. Bienvenu improved on her No. 2 mark in program history with her throw of 54.45m (178-7) and placed second among collegiate athletes. Jepkemboi's mark of 54.16m (177-8) earned her fifth overall.

Washington also placed second in the women's long jump B with her leap of 6.07m (4.1w). Also having a strong performance in the long jump A was Emma Seetoo who placed eighth overall with her mark of 6.18m (2.4w).

Amari Kiluvia finished ninth overall in the women's 100mH with her time of 13.87 (3.4w).
