FWST: TCU freshman point guard Kyan Anderson playing with confidence

TCU point guard Kyan Anderson has that inner confidence a player needs to be successful as a freshman. But even Anderson, who played at North Crowley High School, admits battling nerves in his first few college games.
"At first, I'm not going to lie, it felt like the game was moving pretty fast," Anderson said. "But it's starting to slow down and I'm starting to get in the groove of things and playing my game."
That was evident in the Horned Frogs' 77-72 win Wednesday over Lamar. Anderson led TCU with 15 points while playing 22 minutes, with starter Hank Thorns in foul trouble. Most impressive to coach Jim Christian was Anderson playing turnover-free. ...
