FWST: TCU can't find offense in 47-38 road loss to SMU

DALLAS -- Any way TCU coach Jeff Mittie looked at the final stats from Thursday night's game at SMU, the numbers weren't pretty.
TCU shot 25 percent from the field, allowed SMU (3-0) to grab 24 offensive rebounds and turned the ball over 22 times. The result was a 47-38 loss for TCU (1-2), as the Horned Frogs scored the fewest points in a game coached by Mittie.
TCU's 38 points also tied games against Wyoming (1992) and LSU (1990) for the program's sixth lowest total ever. ...
