SAN DIEGO -- Caellan Carmichael didn't look like he was enjoying himself Monday during a Make-A-Wish Foundation event in downtown San Diego.

Carmichael, 13, along with a group of kids and their families, visited with TCU and Louisiana Tech players and coaches in conjunction with Wednesday's Poinsettia Bowl.

Louisiana Tech receiver Quinton Patton noticed Carmichael looking gloomy and offered his Poinsettia Bowl gifts. It did the trick. Patton gave Carmichael his $300 Best Buy gift card. Teammate Adrien Cole gave Carmichael his Tourneau Poinsettia Bowl watch. Another excited kid received Patton's bowl watch.

Sir FeistyFrog
Now I bet they have God on their side...

Very nice gesture by those players as the watches themselves had to be something most would keep for a lifetime. That Carmichael kid made out like a bandit!

Would some richy-rich TCU alum please make a large cash donation so that we can trump their niceness? I'll sit back and not write a check now.

West Coast, I made a very large donation in your name to the Human Fund, Happy Festivus.
