FWST: Inexperience, Griffin's savvy plagued TCU secondary

TCU coach Gary Patterson was not crying wolf this time.
Horned Frogs fans have grown accustomed to Patterson bemoaning the frailties of his defenses during the preseason, as he often did the past month before Friday's opener at Baylor.
The Bears, led by quarterback Robert Griffin III, burned the Frogs for 564 total yards as Baylor defeated 14th-ranked TCU for the first time since 1995.
Griffin was especially cruel to Frogs cornerbacks Jason Verrett and Greg McCoy, as he found receivers Kendall Wright, Lanear Sampson and Terrance Williams for long touchdown strikes. ...
