Another good thought came when Rod Gilmore called in and said the SEC and B12 are given far more credit than they've earned relative to TCU / Boise......he said the SEC and B12 had been "dominant" in years past, but this year not so much.

Maybe Rod (unlike CJ and maybe even Rece) did some homework and discovered the SEC has no.....zero....OOC wins over any team in Sagain's top 20. As a conference, they have only four .......four......wins over teams ranked 50 or better by Sagarin. CJ talked about marquee wins.......as a conference , the SEC marquee win in OOC play is over 25 th ranked Miami.

Of the 48 OOC games on the SEC schedule this year only 12 are BCS schools. Included in their eight wins in those games are Duke (139 Sagarin); Louisville (85 Sagarin) ; Clemson (54 Sagarin) along with Penn State in a down year (62 Sagarin). Judicious scheduling choices is an important component of the SEC strategy.

So the SEC is making a nice living off the reputation awarded them for free from CJ/ mark may and the like.....their performance on the field so far this year provides little data to support that lofty reputation.

No, I listened carefully and Gilmore only mentioned Boise. Never mentioned TCU. Gilmore is the fool who brought up our lack of style points a few dozen times during the SMU game.

Craig James was so careful to say "I am showing alot of respect" by ranking TCU/Boise.....and then went on to rank us below the average of other voters/computers. When you rank us below our rank.....you aren't showing respect.
