Austin American-Statesman: Horns to keep playing on Thanksgiving

Don't really want a game on Thanksgiving day, but would not mind seeing Baylor that weekend (Fri or Sat) as an annual event.

For the final weekend, I would rather try to see if we can get a match up of top conference teams - at least teams expected to be near the top of the conference.

2009 we had 42,000 people show up Thanksgiving Weekend to watch TCU play a 1-10 New Mexico team. Just something to keep in mind.

[ What the heck? ]? It's a prime time game against UT on national TV on TDay. Kind of a big deal.

So? It ain't that big of a deal. The NFL owns thanksgiving, and especially so in DFW. Its the Whorn's TV show, not ours. Have you ever seen a TCU game on Thanksgiving? Would you want to see a burnt orange crowd at ACS? Because that would happen if we had Thanksgiving day games.
