FORT WORTH, Texas — Bo Spencer's 60-footer at the halftime buzzer began Nebraska's comeback against TCU on Saturday night. But it was the Cornhuskers' defense that finished it off.
Spencer scored 22 points, including that off-balance Hail Mary at the end of the first half, as Nebraska defeated TCU 69-57.
"To win on the road, you have to have some luck," Nebraska coach Doc Sadler said. "Bo made some plays, some difficult shots. Their defense was tremendous, and he just made some shots." ...
