DMN: Patterson says RB Kyle Hicks 'probably out' for Oklahoma State game

An important member of TCU's offense might miss the Horned Frogs' Big 12 opener next week at Oklahoma State.

TCU head coach Gary Patterson told the media postgame that senior running back Kyle Hicks 'got dinged again' in the Frogs' 56-36 win over SMU on Saturday. Patterson said that Hicks would 'probably' be out.

Hicks also missed TCU's opener against Jackson State with an undisclosed injury.

Granted, Darius has been phenomenal, but we need every weapon we can get.

Yeah, that sucks. Probably will need to pass more just to keep up with Oky Lite anyway, but now we have just two RBs with some size. OTOH, SMU's west showed us that a small back can still break tackles and be a factor up the middle, so go Snell!
