The question everyone asked in 2010--and even in 2012 as we joined the Big 12. Given where things stand with conference alignment changes and an encroaching sense of being minimized by national media as a result, let's check in on the state of TCU Athletics.....
Gander over to Big12Ssports.com and click on "Standings" in the top right. You'll see TCU almost consistently at the top:
Not included: TCU Beach Volleyball finished the 2022 season ranked #6 nationally. Rifle finished #2 nationally, and is presently ranked #6 early in this year's season. Cross country, track and field, swimming and diving, and the upcoming triathlon teams don't have "regular season" conference standings to share.
A damn fine program we have here. One that has in fact not only competed at a national level since joining the Power 5 in 2012 -- but actually become more competitive since doing so.
