It is literally sickening that the NCAA has become the Enforcement Body of Last Resort here. It was a foregone conclusion that the Waco Police and McLennan County Law Enforcement apparatus weren't going to touch Rape U. One would have hoped that the State of Texas would have shown an interest in the clearly dodgy application of law in that area of the State, what with a host of rapes covered up by University officialdom, and the half-dozen or so dead bodies around a Breastaurant in town. McLennan County has issues. Of course, the State A.G. is a Rape U. Man, so there is little hope that this will change any time soon.
That leaves the NCAA. Terrific.
The sad fact of the matter is that Rape U. absolutely deserves the Death Penalty, with extreme prejudice, and a Ghost Pepper on top. The focus of the SB piece is on Warden Art, but the real culprits are the Regents of Rape U., who hired the stinking Briles knowing full well who he was and what he stood for. They didn't care. All they wanted was to win, and damn the consequences.
Those sad examples of sewer trout are still running Rape U. It is for this reason that the Death Penalty is a fitting punishment.
