ARLINGTON -- Eleven-year-old Erica Joyner dreamed of enrolling at Texas Christian University and then becoming a doctor to help elderly patients.
At the Tanglewood Apartments, she was the smiling and beaming youngster whom maintenance worker Jorge Rodriguez remembered holding a flashlight to help as he installed a ceiling fan a few days ago in the Joyner family apartment.
The Wood Elementary student, along with 29-year-old Kim Moore, also took turns helping care for apartment assistant manager Lisa Roberts, who had had surgery on her arms in recent weeks. Moore also cleaned the apartments for her rent. ...
