I reviewed this book recently for the Journal of Sports History. It was crushingly depressing, but utterly compelling and hard to put down.

Some things I took away from the book:

1. Winning the wrong way isn't worth it.

2. Rick Neuheisel is scum.

I highly recommend this for any CFB fan, especially if you're interested in the ever ambivalent relationship between big-time college ball and education.
