20k across 4 years and 33 student athletes. Are we literally talking 400-500 a kid a year? Another reason why the ncaa is a lost cause entity. They address situations like this but won’t stand up for 30+ years of sexual molestations or for hundreds of thousands of dollars being given to dads of star players.

Says football and basketball players too???

OP is pretty misleading... There were two separate issues the NCAA was addressing:

(1) Overpayment of members of the football, men's basketball, and women's basketball teams for on-campus jobs, when they didn't clock-out correctly.

(2) Former swim coach Sam Busch violating rules related to impermissible coaching activities (exceeding NCAA limit of 6 coaches), and countable athletically related activities (exceeding NCAA limits on practice hours basically).

It appears the sanctions are imposed against the athletic department as a whole, not any specific program. And there is a show cause against former swim coach Sam Busch, who was dismissed around the time this was investigated.

Wow. They're really on the ball!

Meanwhile, Rape U. goes unpunished...
Which program generates more $$ -- Baylol football or TCU swimming?

It's what they call a "bid'ness decision." Does anyone really expect ncaa to do anything drastic that will significantly impact a ca$h cow, unless they absolutely positively hafta?
