Wild rumor that Big East is talking to NOTRE DAME about coming aboard in football (ND is already in Big East for all sports but football).

A little known fact is that ND loves the Big East. They really do! They are intimately involved in every little thing the league does. The ND President was even the co-presenter of the Big East press Conf invitation to Tcu in Ft Worth.

Supposedly the offer to ND would allow them to keep their seperste TV money and there would be other concessions.

Have no idea where this may go, but it appears the Big East Commish is at least out there already being very aggressive in trying to get KANSAS, NOTRE DAME, MIZZOU, BC, and KSU aboard.

Giving Notre Dame whatever they want to join the Big East for football might hold any schools approached by the ACC or anyone else -- I think it's that big. Frankly, Notre Dame agreeing to join the BE for football might sway Boston College to return. Those are the kinds of moves the BE needs to make offensively at this otherwise potentially tumultous time.
