not condoning the behavior of any frog fans that are inappropriate, but trying to understand how the heck his mom could get to this game with all the weather in ft worth yesterday

I did hear a college kid next to me say he thru a water bottle and hit a student. We were on opposite side of the court and there were still a couple of minutes left in game. Didn’t see it myself

Glad to see our students getting into the heads of opposing players. If you let the fans affect you enough, it won't go well for you.
As for his mom reacting to the fans, it sounds like the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

She came all the way to Fort Worth from wherever she lives, through ice and snow to watch Jimmy play 18 minutes, with 4 pts and 3 rebs. No wonder she was pissed. Watching on TV it looked like he was in Huggins doghouse and pouting about it.

Player, don’t throw water bottles into the opponents’ student section like a petulant child and expect not to get ribbed by said likely drunk mass of 18-24 year olds.

Mom, don’t turn and start trash talking an opponents’ student section from several rows down and expect not to get it back from same said likely drunk mass of 18-24 year olds.

I have exactly no sympathy for these people. Wise up. Toughen up. Act like adults. Bunch of fans said some mean things? Boo hoo welcome to college sports.

The more NIL, Alston payments, full cost of attendance, etc., increase, the lesser my sympathy for the people benefiting off of it. Let’s be real. They were mad they lost. Be better.

He’s from Saginaw, Michigan so she was probably wondering what all the fuss was about.
