I'm actually thinking SMU (in Dallas) will be a more competitive game this year, whether Baylor has Griffin or not. Despite having the crutch of the Big XII to lean on with recruits, Baylor has yet to earn even one year of legit Big XII status with their performance on the field, at least in football. They've ridden on one huge coat tail throughout their entire existence in the Big XII. That's a pretty amazing accomplishment considering how many years they've been able to pitch their conference to their high school prospects. It says a lot about the university, the city and the overall football program to not be able to successfully leverage that into at least a couple of winning seasons.

Come spy all you want, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not convinced they could beat TCU if the Frogs gave them their playbook.

I just thought it was odd that he mentioned Baylor ahead of OSU. I doubt Patterson will hold any part of his offensive game back during the OSU game because he doesn't want Baylor to see it. So what's the point of us sneaking into your practice. It would be different if we were your first game.

Well I am pretty sure Patterson held back parts of the offense last year until the BYU and Utah games. I know he has done it in the past.
