WOMENS' TRANSFERS

After reading posts on another site you would think that Campbell has lost his touch!
They go on and on about how we are being abandoned and players are traitors

Turns out that if they has waited just one day on complaints, they would have seen where we
signed two really good players today!

Any opinions on this issue???

I think Coach Campbell knows what he's doing and I don't fault anyone who leaves if they get more money (I would have) or feel like they've got a better opportunity for more playing time.
I'd say both basketball coaches have done well, given the current state of college athletics.

In every sport there are observers telling how it ought to be done. Then there are coaches who actually do it. From what I've seen the past couple of years I think TCU is going with the doers, not the tellers.

I have confidence in Campbell, and when I look at the list of top players in the portal and see how often TCU is listed as a potential destination, I grow more confident. People around WBB recognize TCU as an attractive destination for players seeking to win now and develop for the next level. The style of play is attractive, the culture is strong, HCMC's ability to build competitive squads through the portal is well established, his contract has been extended, and two more Frogs will soon become first-round WNBA draft picks.

The train is rolling.

Everybody but Charlie Creme seems to sense the same momentum it seems….

People concerned about Crooks wearing purple can rest easy--but the Frogs will have to deal with her and ex-Florida guard Liv McGill wearing orange for Okie State. Cowgirls should be very good.

Still, I couldn't see how Crooks would be a fit for HCMC. Hopeful we'll see at least one more addition before the portal closes this week.

Guessing the market for Audi wasn’t to the level she was expecting. Think her glaring weaknesses on the defensive side caught up w her. Now the question is can the staff at OSU push her enough to at least be serviceable so that she has a chance to play professionally?

I suspect MC has 2 more positive portal pickups. I think another wing and then another pure shooter are the ones I’d like to see us pick up.

The loss of Hunter hurts. She is from the west coast so maybe that had something to do with it. I thought she was a Frog for life but I guess NIL has ruined that forever.
I don't think it was NIL. She wants to be the lead guard like Olivia and Hailey. CMC did not see that role for her so she transferred out. She might have gotten more NIL money, but she wants to play in the WNBA and can't do that as a stopper/3-point shooter only.

I wish her the best of luck.

I'd like to see Addy Brown from Iowa State come on over.
She was one of the biggest hopes I had going into portal season. A front court of her, Somfai and Silva has SOO many permutations that seem really hard to stop. Throw in a more aggressive Bielefeld and paired up w some combo of Hines, Wooten handling the ball and Grant on the perimeter the talent level is a lot higher in spots 2-7 than we’ve had.
guess it remains to be seen if Portlock can step into playing time next season after spending this season redshirted. She showed the talent in the international U18 world. But we’ve been spoiled having a couple of 6’7” players to roll out at any time.

Portlock is like some kind of secret weapon.
No team has seen her in action.
I have high hopes for her becoming a force under the rim.
