Not sure if anyone here follows our women's team, but I have been to almost every game this year and have thoroughly enjoyed it. When our team was in the Mountain West, we'd beat everyone by 30 points at home and games were not entertaining. But now that they are in the top women's basketball league in the country, its been fun watching these young Lady Frogs go toe to toe with the experienced and elite teams in the Big 12.

Do not be put off by the 7-8 and 0-4 conference record. These Lady Frogs are young! All 5 starters are freshman and sophomores. There is a 3 headed monster at guard - Noonie Ventress, Zahna Medley and Kamy Cole that have the potential to the the top guard tandem in the league in a year or two. Lots of potential that when developed will be a force to reckon with. Only 2 upperclassmen, Delisa Gross and Whitney Williams, get significant minutes, and they both come off the bench, and have more of a leadership/influence role on the team. Plus, every other team in the Big 12 seems to be experienced and veteran led, like Baylor and Oklahoma. Even then our young players nearly beat Oklahoma.

I suggest everyone try to come out at least once this season and support this young team that has a bright future ahead! 7 home games remain!

Season ticket holder for several years,tickets are 5 bucks plus get some free for kids ,great family value entertaiment.Coach Mittie Makes sure that team gets into post season tournament every year NCAA almost.

Recruting has improved since joining Bog12.Several Top100 in Freshman and Soph class, almost beat Oklahoma ,led most of game ,oakies were 15th ranked,Iowa 25th ranked were much bigger .Next years class ha a 6/6 center and a great PG .
Agree that fans especially students need to supportthe team.

For anyone that is interested, gofrogs is saying that tonight's game is on TV. I have found it on Direct TV on Root Sports (659) and it is even showing up on Fox Southwest. The game is at 6PM.

Is the B12 the best women's basketball league? I don't follow the sport really, so it's a serious question. I'd assumed Big East women's ball was the best.

Good game by the Lady Frogs tonight.I was impressed with their play for being so young.Loving definetly caused us a lot of problems.Your teams is not nearly as bad as the record in league play.WVU's shooting is very inconsistent and usually plays a big part in most of our games.Look forward to the next meeting.

I thought the game was pretty evenly called.I say that when the first 2 games in league,WV was outshot 70some to 20some.WVU has apparently made adjustments.Their last game against KSU was 100% turnaround from the first 2 games.The officials called a double foul late in the game that could have gone against TCU.I saw a lot of youth and lots of turnovers by both teams.WVU has 1 SR on the team.
