Women's Hoops vs. OU TV

Anyone else watching this game? It's sad, I find myself not wishing that we would win, but rather, that we could just look competitive. I had the exact same thought watching the men's team last week. I would really like to take my family to a few games (ladies and men's), but don't want to make the trip (I live in Ellis county) and have my 6 and 9 year olds bummed out due to frogs getting blown out.

Why does our women's team suck this year? Mittie always had competitive teams and we beat Oklahoma when we were in the MWC? We were competing for conference championships 2-4 years ago. Why does the team suck hard now? Don't tell me its just because of the competition. The Sverisdaughter teams would have competed just fine in the Big 12.

They still have a chance to win one or two this year. They still have UT and Kansas to play. KSU beat UT pretty bad the first game with TCU being close home and away against KSU.

guess i have less patience for our basketball teams than football. prolly cause football has actually done something in the last 10 years.

Feel like I've been hearing this pitch regarding the football team, and both basketball teams the past 2+ years. Eventually you aren't young, or you screwed up developing and keeping players. Being perpetually young is a sign of problems.

I think that's a good point. Our men's bball team has been "young" for way longer than 2 years because of so many washout players. The women's team is just a mystery to me. Just in the last 3 years or so they've gone from a long run of being a NCAA team, to a NIT team, to just nothing. They are not even competitive. They were young last year and seem even younger this year. They don't look near as athletic as what we were putting out there a short time ago.
Not worried about that in football at this point because the reasons for that are very identifiable and should be mostly resolved this fall if the current roster stays in tact. I am worried about what happens when the large number of freshmen/RS Freshmen all leave at once.

Have patience with this team. Only one upper classman gets significant minutes on our roster in a league full of experienced, veteran teams
Though I do think mittie needs to abondon the zone. How many teams in a row need to shoot lights out from 3 against us until we go man?
