Since most BCS programs are state funded schools....at what point does the state funding get reduced, up to the amount of the TV/BCS revenue generated.
I don't think anyone buys the bogus claims of athletic departments being privately funded....given the various fund accounting games that are played. It just annoys the heck out of me that these public schools are getting all sorts of public funds and then bringing in tens of millions from TV. Given that most states are having pretty serious financial troubles, I would think they would shrink budgets with the offset being the BCS money.
