I have made predictions along on here that the TCU basketball team will develop quickly now that you all are in the Big 12. You have the advantage of being in a city area but with big conference exposure. Good coaching hire. You will do really well over the next few years.
Basketball is my favorite sport by far and I know quite a bit about it. Had a kid play, grew up in Indiana, where it is kind of all we had (respectfully to the good people of Indiana).
You all picked a GREAT year to start playing in the conference. It is am amazingly down year, which is good for a developing program. KU, like always (man, Self just gets it done), is very tough. KU will only get better as the year rolls on. BU, probably the second best basketball program now in the conference, has TREMENDOUS talent but frontline is very young and has proven that they can win at Kentucky, play Zags tough but lose to absolutely the worst teams out there. Drew has been to two elite 8 in three years but getting back there seems pretty tough when these young guys. UT is getting better and will much better when get their guard back in February but they also lost to a D2 school. Other than maybe KSU, everyone else is marginal.
My point to all of this is that I say you get 7 to 9 wins in conference. If you had joined last year, much worse but this is the perfect time to start following the Frogs. It will build from here.
