Anyone who plays knows you can’t do a full wind up spike. Call was correct.

Time to chime in and say that’s a dumb rule.

Of all the things the officials screwed up tonight, throwing a flag for that stupid spike after the TD wasn't one of those screw ups. It's always been a rule at all levels except professional. I knew that when I was 5-6 years old as do the players today.
I watched a lot of football today and the only spike I saw was the one we were flagged for. Whether it's flagged all of the time or not is moot. It's a rule, period. So don't consciously break the rule. Seems simple enough to me.
