WHO is FIGHTING for TCU?

Where are the DFW legislators? The TCU big donors? Wendy Davis? John Roach? Roger Williams? The Bass family? Mike Moncreif? THE LOCAL MEDIA?

Why is no one questioning why we are being left behind again? We've proven ourselves. We've improved our facilities. We have the same amount of BCS appearances as A&M, more than Tech and Baylor. We are going to the CWS. We are a top-tier program from top to bottom (well, other than basketball).

We proved with a winning program last year that we CAN and DO pack the house. We CAN and DO deliver the market. ESPN hand-picked us for a Jerry World game. Not A&M, not cow, not Tech, not Baylor.

We either need every damn team in the MWC to commit to this project, or we need voices in Texas to stand up for us. The media is dismissing us, so we never get brought up in discusion.

Someone, for the love of all things holy, fight for TCU!!

Where is the fight in our alumni?! Where is the fight in the media?!

We just got a brighter future ripped from our grasp by Fox and UT, who have decided to "protect their investment." They sure did pull this off in short-order, once they knew that hearings would commence in Austin on Wednesday.

Where are any influential legislators for us? Where are our hearings? Where is the political pressure?

Where are any influential alumni for us? Baylor has boosters all over the media. Where are ours?

Where is the AD in all this? I don't want to see him standing around in shorts at the super regional glad handing, I want to know that he is working his a** off to get us in a decent conference!

Where is the FWST? Our biggest asset over K St, Kansas, Baylor, etc. is that we are in a major city with a major media outlet. Where is our support?

Will DFW lose out on a major college team because we sat around with our thumbs up our rears?

The future of our university is at stake. Literally. We need someone to speak for us. The TCU people need to hear strong voices! Where are they?

Perhaps we were content to watch things unfold, thinking that UT et al was going to the Pac 10. But now, here we are, about to lose Utah, and about to be greatly surpassed monetarily by nearly every school around us!

Yes, I'm angry, yes, I'm upset, yes, I'm being emotional. But dangit, we need some of that in our administration, our media, our boosters, our politicians, our fans. We need to stop being sleepy TCU from sleepy FW and actually speak out for ourselves, loudly!

Is it that we just don't have many politicians or highly connected people? The 3 lost decades (60's, 70's, 80's) at TCU didn't exactly product A plus talent in the real world and a very small percentage of those Alumni are still connected to the university in any way.
