A pair of big innings led the White team to a 9-8 victory over the Purple squad as it gained the 2-1 series advantage Friday night at Lupton Stadium. Purple stormed out to an early five run lead, but White answered with a five-run outburst of its own. A four-run sixth inning erased an 8-5 deficit to help lead White to the victory. Matt McGuirk was the offensive star with two hits and two RBIs.
