Which team has the most incentive to win BWW Bowl?

I hope the team isn't looking ahead to next year like most fans are (LSU thread). This is going to be a tough game and the team will need to be focused to win.

I think both teams will be well motivated, getting a last chance to put a positive ending to a troubled season. Both are young teams with plenty to look forward to. Figures to be a close defensive game, with somebody making a decisive mistake -- I just hope it's them not us.

much like the Fiesta Bowl in 09 this bowl sets the table for next year
it is a critical must win game for the Frogs in terms of where we open in the preseason ranking next year

True, but that doesn't matter so much now. Yeah, it's great to be ranked high at the start of the season, but it doesn't matter. Notre Dame was down in the 20s this year. Win the Big 12 and we don't have any variables that come into play. Go undefeated doing it and we are in the NCG.

Remember that time we lost the Fiesta Bowl? When we went air raid style and our receivers couldn't catch anything and Dalton couldn't really do anything?

My feeling is MSU has to be a little flat with a 6-6 record. TCU on the other hand is 7-5 with a win over the Whorns and taking OU down to the wire so I feel like the Frogs have an edge on desire going into this game. Frogs win, by how much I have no clue but they will win.

Frogs. We need to end this season on a positive note from a recruiting standpoint. These next two months will be critical as several of our top targets probably will not finalize their decisions until the ink is dry on signing day.

losing the FIesta Bowl really screwed our 2010 season.

Your sarcasm is obvious but that loss did hurt us in the polls. All year after that Boise was ranked higher and would have gone to the Rose bowl had they not lost to Nevada. Speaking of that loss, that was truly a glorious moment...
