Where do ESPN/Scout/CFN get these numbers?

Apparently Sky Dawson has below-average speed for a WR, meaning most WR's run under 10 seconds in the 100M. Boyce is barely 5-11 (which makes the DBs he plays against 5-7 tops), and has below average speed.

Of course, these were the same guys who predicted LT was about a 4.6 runner, before he ran in the 4.3's in the combine.

I know many on this board are pro-Scout, but everything I see from them underrates TCU's talent.

Oddly enough, Boyce's height has been deleted from the 2012 roster.

Dawson has not run a sub-10 100M

Boyce is 5-11

LT did not run a 4.3

I've never thought of Boyce as having exceptional speed. He's a good receiever, but I've never been blown away by his measurables. That's why I was shocked he jumped ship for the draft.

Tomlinson ran a handtimed 4.36 in 2001. Maybe that's what he was referencing.

I don't think he attributed a sub 10 100 to Skye either, just saying average speed must be that if Skyes low 10's are below avg.

4.46 at his pro day.

Also I understand what he was saying, but there is too much gap between his best around 10.39 and a sub 9 100m to make that statement.
