Where Are You Staying in LA?

That’s why you get Uber at the Casino and not at the stadium. And you can hang at their nice bars or gamble while u wait!
I was at the NFC Championship game last year, which was just as crazy as this game will be and we waited 45 minutes. I would have gambled longer but the ride share came.

That and the cost to park was $200.

If you plan to tailgate or drink, driving is risky. In LA, if you don’t have to drive it’s better not to.
Kind of like Saigon or Bangladesh.

Booked at Sonesta near LAX several days ago to eliminate the need for a rental car, but I'm going to look at some more options now that the wife confirmed that she's coming along.
Do not stay there. Was stuck there overnight thanks to a United flight that couldn’t get us to our real destination skiing before Christmas. Very ghetto and scary, like most of the streets of LA.

Redondo Beach Tapestry by Hilton is also nice little hotel close to the airport, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. The little beach towns are fun to walk around both day and night. Lots of fun restaurants, shops, and bars - all on the beach. & relatively close to So Fi.

So Cal living at it's finest. can't wait... LFG Frogs!!!
It’s now showing sold out, hopefully full of Frog fans

We are enjoying Santa Monica. Lots of nice hotels near the beach and the pier. We are staying 9 nights (because we drove to Fiesta, and kept driving.) I’m lucky that my sweet, low maintenance wife agreed to a no frills hotel to lessen the blow to our plastic. But it’s fine.

Good for y'all! Great to see you at the game on Saturday.

Maybe we'll run into each other again in a week...

My Dad, brother and I are also staying at the Motel 6 near the stadium in Inglewood. Staying at MGM Sunday night, driving into LA Monday morning, then heading back out to Vegas early Tuesday. Don't give a ship where I sleep for the natty... business trip! Might crip-walk to the stadium from the hotel/motel. Luckily, purple is as neutral as you can get between the Crips and the Bloods!

Coming with a larger group this time, so might be tougher to get away, but I’d love to tee it up again if we can. Though it just occurred to me that a Sunday a.m. tee time at a public course in LA less than a week in advance might be harder to find than Bigfoot’s unicorn.

Just got word from the CFP, KillerFrogs' media credentials have been approved for the game. So, I'll be in the media hotel which I think is the Marriott at the airport.

Excited Arrested Development GIF

Who is doing ABnB and what areas of LA are you looking at? I’m coming in with wife and 2 teenagers so hotels are out and I’m looking for a house. I’ve been to LA once (Rose Bowl game) but don’t know what part of town is nice and safe and what parts you might get murdered in. I’ve googled a bunch but it’s all over the place. I.e Some reviews say Santa Monica is safe, others say it’s not at all. Appreciate any help.

I’ll let others weigh in in further detail, but Santa Monica is definitely safe - and beautiful.

I’d look for the list of the places to avoid, as that list should be shorter.

I’m staying in DT LA and walked those streets many times - never felt unsafe.
