I like the pickup. Seems like he gives us a great safety valve to avoid being forced to throw Schobel in. Buys us one more year to let him mature and learn before it’s his job. If it’s not going well by about game 4-5 you probably make the switch and it’s Schobel’s team going forward. For the sake of all involved I hope this turns into an all conference level QB and Schobel gets the chance to mature and get even more hungry for another year.

I think since our new offensive coaches don't have Power 4 Conference experience, they felt more comfortable taking on coaching a quarterback that had less experience than them and, in fact, not even Group of 5 experience. He basically was rated at or near the bottom of quarterbacks in the portal. Frogs probably got him for every little money.

Your Are incorrect, he is Ranked 21 out of 115 portal quarterbacks. He is currently an NFL prospect. So you’re just making stuff up to be negative. Why don’t you go wine and cry somewhere else.
