We're about to mud stomp MSU

Hear me out-

I don't post a lot anymore, but I have the distinct feeling we whip Mich State like a rented mule.

MSU from what I've seen has a decent to above average defense, but no stretch-the-field quick strike offense.

We've played very, very good D on the road.

We can score from anywhere on the filed- Boyce, Tucker, Brown, Dawson, Carter, etc., etc.

Fearless prediction- Frogs 34, Sparty 17

That does not qualify as a mud stomp. Nice try.

MSU .... # 4 in the nation defensively

Beat 4 Bowl teams.

Lost to 4 top 25 teams by 4 pts or less.

Get off the juice and/or the Bong!

Cheers !

they have a good defense. Our offense is not good but maybe Boykin will play better with time to heal.
I see us scoring 24 tops, probably less like 17

34-17 doesn't sound like a mud or other kind of stomping. Based on their defense and our offense, I don't really see that kind of differential unless there were some turnovers or something that got us up early. But, who knows? The weekly grind on Boykin just to keep up while unexpectedly starting this year probably didn't give him much time to reflect on what he learned. Maybe the nearly month off will pay dividends.

Frogs have played last several bowls tight.
We need this win badly, to sustain momentum going into 2013.
The team did well this year, considering circumstances,
but a big goose egg for conference home wins isn't going to cut it next year.
We need the entire team healthy and hungry for a win.

Bold Prediction: TCU wins by one Point.

Our pass rush will generate pics for our secondary and that will be the difference in the game, provided they even throw the ball.

Robert Smith picked us at 27 confidence out of 35 on Bowl Mania. I am with him. McShay went TCU for 6 and the other guy took MSU for 8 I think.

I don't know if MSU has been tested in the passing game and if they are not a great offense, I don't think the odds favor them.

Still, I am excited about this matchup. I hope the guys want to play.

MSU lost to AP #3 Ohio State by 1pt and to #18 Michigan by 2 pts, on the road. Also beat #19 Boise, plus B10 Champ, Wisconsin(who mauled #16 Nebraska in CCG)... on the road.

MSU never got spanked this year ... but gave a couple of spankings. Their biggest loss was 20-3 to #1 Notre Dame this year.

'Houston', think we have a real game on our hands! ..... not a mud stomping.

Cheers !

McShay, to my knowledge, has never really been high on the Frogs. I think he pays attention to starsies too closely......

The Big 10 is not good. They barely beat Indiana and Iowa. I think we win by 10 or more.

They aren't that bad. OSU good, Penn State good, Nebraska decent, Wisky decent (had their moments), Michigan decent, Indiana had their moments, Northwestern was competitive. They aren't SEC or Big XII, but I don't think I'd call them BAD. I see 3-4 losses and a couple other toss ups in that list had we played them this year.

I don't know about the "mudstomping" but I agree with it. A 17-point win? Why would you argue with that?

Boykin plays with confidence and hits a couple bombs early, we beat them handily. If MSU gets behind, then Sparty is in trouble. Sparty does not feature a vertical passing game. That's the key to me: jump ahead early and make them throw. Good things will happen for TCU when they do. 34-17 win is fine with me.
