If you ever get a bill for an air ambulance - particularly from a rural area - and understand it's implications $, you'd decline too.

I guess we all assume that if "the flight" is necessary then insurance will pay. A friend of mine went through this nightmare (stroke.)

When I lived in rural East Texas, you could "subscribe" to ETMC's air ambulance service for $50 annual. I never used It but figured if I ever did it would be the best ROI on any investment ever.
