SuperFrog went out during the coin toss, and marched with the band. By half time, the BYU fans were cheering more for SuperFrog then their own mascot.
SuperFrog crowd surfed up and down the stands.
When I came to TCU years later for grad school, I was disappointed that SuperFrog was not doing any of that.
Cosmo began the transformation into today's version being with being shown up by SuperFrog in 1988.

crowd surfing was so on brand for the dude in the suit in 1988. He also might or might not have jumped on the back of a passing city bus in downtown Provo the day before. Allegedly.

All I can say, it was a great performance. To go into a hostile stadium and get the hostile crowd to cheer for the opposing mascot was brilliant. Hats off and bravo.
