How can that Georgia offensive lineman actually go out in public looking like that?

He's a local DFW kid. We got Cam Cook instead.
The closest thing I've seen to Emmit Smith. His contact balance, vision and speed make him an all-around special talent.
Guess what? TCU didn't even offer him. This seems to be a pattern. Our recruiters get so caught up in size, speed cut offs. This is evident in many positions. LB, RB and particularly OL.

Marcus Allen and E. Smith both ran 4.6 forty.

Dude is way faster than Emmitt. And everybody missed on that guy. Kansas (when they were 2-10) and Cal were his only Power conference offers. Plus, he only played one season of HS ball as a RB in the United States, and it was while our head coach was Jerry Kill.

We did offer him? Please tell me when. Or is Frisco not considered part of DFW?

The part about Cam Cook was sarcasm (kind of). But is true about what we ended up with. Did you take that as some kind of a shot at Sonny since you're super defensive about him?
Jeanty was not a local kid. He played his freshman year for the Naples, Italy Wildcats. His parents moved him to Lone Star in his Soph year for exposure.
Jeanty‘s soph year was spent playing S, LB, DE, & slot receiver.
Jeanty’s junior year he was a slot receiver, and backup to Jaden Nixon @ RB.
Jeanty’s senior year, finally he became the starting RB for his final year.
Because Jeanty was only a one year starter, he only received 2 P5 offers.
After committing to Boise on 9/13/21, he ended his recruiting. However, Cal did give him his 2nd P5 offer, even though he never visited. Jeanty signed with BSU on 12/15/21, a week before early signing day.
Sonny’s 1st day at TCU was Dec. 1st 2021. 79 days after Jeanty committed and only 14 days before he signed with BSU.
Sonny had -0- chance to bring Jeanty to TCU.

Well, he did have two weeks.

Man, lighten up. I figured you took it as a shot at Sonny and I was right. Well, actually, I think Payne is better than Cook.

Nope. I took it as you made a statement regarding recruiting that was completely uninformed and untrue.
Jeanty was never local, we never had any shot of recruiting him, and we certainly didn’t get Cook instead of Jeanty.
