@Pharm Frog - because they blew the whistle as an incomplete pass and everybody stopped except for the one MSU guy who picked the ball up. At first they said “inadvertent whistle” then reviewed the play anyway.

And? If you are gonna have replay and a rule that says clear recovery then you have to call it like that. Whistle really doesn’t matter at that point. I can’t stand replay anyway but if it has to exist then you get plays like that I’ll also point out that since the whistle doesn’t officially end all plays you should be able to rock people after the whistle. Another bad consequence of replay.

Ole Miss has lost 3 games since getting beat by LSU and will now have fallen from #7 to unranked during that span. Does this make LSU or the SEC overrated or does that logic only apply to the Frogs? I'm willing to bet the argument will be where Ole Miss was ranked at the time LSU played them whereas for us it's where the teams we beat are currently ranked.

No, Ole Miss flaming out does no favors to LSU, but LSU also beat Mississippi State so it probably doesn’t make much difference. And they getting beat by SEC teams, I don’t see how it really affects the overall conference. Why would the SEC all the sudden be more overrated when an SEC team loses to another SEC team?

Relax, you’re seeing ghosts. Or at least looking really hard for them.
