We did prove we belong. After losing so many contributing players it is amazing what this staff of coaches were able to do. Our players deserve major props for "growing up" so quickly.

I think the UT win has put to rest the whole, "see TCU is a 6-6 team in a BCS conference as opposed to 12-0 in a mid-major. . ." If we don't beat UT those voices are louder right now but since we beat the mighty cows in Austin, I think we have a lot of respect. I am excited about the future especially the defense! Holy cow they are going to be special next year.

No, you're right--we really laid to rest the 6-6 argument.

We went 7-5 BABY! Yaay!

This season sucked. Ya the guys tried hard and GP and staff coached their asses off to get 7-5, but 7-5 and Oh and FOUR at home in conference games--that ain't goign to cut it people. We lost to Tech and Iowa State in our house.

The great thing is we have a bunch of good things happening bnext year hopefully, but this year blew chuncks.

One more thing for you people--if you listened to GP's post game interview with Denton, I am more proud than ever he is our coach. He's not mealy mouthed about this year. Disappointed. If he is, Steel is.

You kidding me? I answered in the only way a logical person could. I said that the OP's question was deceptive because it was premised on a lie and aimed at discrediting our success from the past.

How we would do in the MWC this year is no more relevant than asking how Baylor would do in the MWC this year. It's not the same teams anymore.

Moreover, the OP intimated that we had a down year, but even so we would never have more than one or two losses in the MWC. I pointed to a down year where we had 5 losses in the MWC resulting from a down year.

OP also failed to consider that we challenged ourselves in the offseason which could likely have resulted in a loss or two (as evidenced by the fact that we were going to play and lose to OU).

Didn't dance around anything.
