DFW Marchfest-April 12: It was another solid performance for the athletic point guard from Bellaire (Texas). Alix can create her own shot in the half court as well as get out in transition and make plays to get her team easy baskets. When a half-court look breaks down, Alix is a skilled one-on-one player who showed the ability to consistently make plays. She has a nice pull-up jumper in her repertoire and she uses it well to avoid over-penetrating and drawing unnecessary charge calls. Alix has the potential to emerge as one of the better point guards in the class of 2013. (Moore)

The girls have a good class coming in, and just like the football team, are playing a lot of frosh and soph.

Had a pretty good class for 2012 too, pretty up and down start to this season... Lost by 20+ to A&M (top 25 team), I am sure as we grow up a bit things will improve... Jeff seems to be a good coach, just wonder how much longer he will get a chance to build.

I think getting into the Big 12 has been a huge help in recruiting for Mittie. I believe he also just signed a new contract.
